New Policy Denies New Applications After Denial
The Social Security Administration has announced a new policy which prevents Social Security Disability/SSI claimants from filing a new application while the claimant is appealing an unfavorable decision on an earlier application. Social Security states that this new policy is intended to eliminate confusing and conflicting determinations which frequently result when a person has more than one claim proceeding at the same time. If you have been denied Social Security Disability/SSI benefits, please call for a free consultation with Disability Attorney William M.
